Before founding Sangford Schools, Sivakumar held senior roles with Wipro, IBM, HP, Infosys and others, earning recognition for outstanding project delivery, high client-satisfaction ratings, leadership in quality assurance, and commitment to exceeding goals.

Certified by Wipro Technologies and the HP Learning Center, he also earned credentials from the National Book Trust, India in academic publishing. At Wipro he helped scale revenues to $100 Million (2003–2004) and expanded the Target Account Management team to over 500 members.

He holds distinguished professional certifications across leadership, education, and global business. In the corporate sphere, he was certified by Wipro Technologies in Interviewing Techniques and the Leadership Academy (New Leader Program), and by the HP Learning Center in Business Etiquette and Professional Workplace Communication.

In the education domain, he earned certification from the National Book Trust, India, in Book Publishing, in collaboration with BAPASI and NIMI — strengthening his expertise in academic publishing, curriculum design, and educational content development.
